Lets Keep the Peace

I thrive on providing each and every client who walks through the doors the best possible service I can offer. That’s why I have some basic things in place to ensure everyone enjoys their BbT experience. They’re not rules, they’re just some general things to keep in mind to make sure your experience with us goes as smoothly as possible.
- Confidentiality -
During a hair session, it can be long hours and lots of conversations will take place, please note I take pride in keeping any conversations while in my chair confidential.
- Respect-
Treat others as you would want to be treated.
- Good Hygiene-
I understand some people come get their hair done right after work, but please do a quick wipe down before your appointment if needed. I keep spare toothbrushes and tooth paste for hard times. Be considerate of others around you.

Running Late?
Time is Precious
I understand that due to your busy schedule, you may find yourself running late. If you think you are going to be late, please contact and let us know. The chat box messages comes directly to me. If you are more than 15 minutes late, there will be an additional $7 charge for every 10 minutes late prior to the booked appointment. It will be applied to your final service charge. If your more than 30 minutes late with no contact, your appointment will be reopened or given away to another guest.
Deposit & Rescheduling
Lets be fair
Yes, unfortunately life happens when we least expect it and it leads us to be forced move around our calendar plans and that is perfectly okay. We are very understanding and here to work with you.
As you did pay your deposit for your appointment, it is only fair that you are able to reschedule to a later date with no extra cost and you are correct. You can definitely do just that!
With the deposit paid, you are able to reschedule your appointment up to 5 weeks (35 days) from your original appointment. If your appointment isn't made within that 35 days, you are required to make another deposit.
Home Visits
For home visits, please have your hair freshly washed and detangled if possible.
- Only the stylist and the client in an open clean space, unless the person is Special needs or a child 16 and under.
- Pets are fine, as long as they are friendly and not interrupting the braiding session.

Travel cost is determined on the location you live from the Northend of Halifax
0-5km FREE (Northend Halifax area)
5-10 km $25
10-30km $45
30-50km $65
50- 75km $85
75 -100km $120
100+ km $150+ (please contact before)
Things to know
Squeeze in Appointments
All appointments that are manually booked by BbT less than 48 hours prior, is considered a "squeeze in". These appointments will be an extra $50 on top of the braiding service cost. There is also a non refundable deposit that is required and that will go towards the final braiding cost.
(eg: Squeeze in fee + Booking fee + Service fee = Total Cost)
After Hour Requests
Requesting an appointment after hours will NOT GUARANTEE you a confirmed appointment, as they will be reviewed on a case by case basis. $100 after hour fee will be added on top of the total service cost.
(eg: After hour fee + Booking fee + Service fee = Total cost)
Booking in advanced is HIGHLY recommended ;)
